      <description>&lt;P&gt;I dialed 17070 from landline phone and there was no connection to anything - no dial tone, no continuous tone&amp;nbsp; nothing. Didn't connect to anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are on full fibre FFTP with sky broadband and sky talk&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The phone is a BT one with their call guardian software but don't seem to able to enable that as I think it only works on a 'normal' copper BT line. I thought openreach covered everything everywhere (to borrow a phrase from EE)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried another bog-standard handset and plugged into the phone socket on the router and got the same result - no tone or connection to anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes all 4 router lights are always on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phone works perfectly Normally other than being able to use either the built in call guardian on my BT handsets or of course signing up to sky shield&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am in UK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As I have FFTP, we can only use phone&amp;nbsp; via the Internet cable and therefore only via plugging the phone into the 'phone' port on the router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The original sockets into the house from openreach copper cable is no longer in use since we upgraded to full fibre 2 years ago.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

As you said this is a problem with talk shield not allowing you to login. You will have to ask Sky what the issue is and if it is avaiable to you. Sometimes if you are not on their network it shows the same faults as seen with yourself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just dial 150 on your landline, when asked the nature of the call say " Technical " , you may be asked for a mobile number give this, but DO NOT hang up and it should drop you into the queue to speak to an advisor.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
