how do I connect multiple house phones into the SKYQ hub?

Just changed over to SKYQ TV, broadband and landline phone. Everything is working ok, but I have only one house phone connected (to the hub). How can I connect the other phones around the house?

The simplest solution would be to invest in a cordless phone with as many handsets as you need. Only the base station would need to be plugged into the Hub, leaving you to place the handsets wherever you want

This makes sense, however if the main hub is connected (and works) and the other phones (all the same) don't connect or ring, is it the phoneline or the connection between the main hub?

Could be either in theory. Easy enough to work out which, though, by testing with a standard phone handset.

Did exactly as Mark suggested. Bought a cordless phone with a further 2 handsets; plugged the main set into the hub and the 2 others placed elsewhere in the house. Easy and quick and works perfectly.

Glad it's a good solution. Cordless phones are very practical - I've had one for years.

Hi has anyone successfully connected 2 physical phone cables to a Sky Router, I have a set of wireless phones with a base station as described elsewhere, but also use a polyspan conference phone for business, I would like to still be able to use the conference phone but following the upgrade to fibre broadband yesterday openreach have disconnected the second phone without warning.

@LucyLockett I believe there have been posts confirming that you can use a simple phone splitter in the socket at the back of the Sky Hub, to provide a second phone output.

The internal extension wiring to the location the phone is in, rather than the phone itself, presumably.

As @Mark39 indicates, a simple hardware splitter 'should' work (and is easy to test), but getting a signal back into extension wiring is distinctly trickier.
