Landline number has not changed

I moved house and switched from NOW to Sky. At the time of the switch it was stated that I could still keep my landline number on Sky Talk. However this has not happened, and my old number is now apparently 'out of service'. How do I get my old number to my new Sky Talk line?

If your Now phone service has ended, you won't be able to retrieve the number, I'm afraid.

With your Sky phone service, do you have Sky VOIP, where your phone plugs into your broadband Hub, rather than the wall socket?

But I asked Sky to transfer my number BEFORE my NOW service was ended. My Sky service was activiated then my NOW was ended, so why was my number not transfered?

I am using VOIP.

So far as I know, it's not possible to keep your number if your Sky phone service is provisioned via Sky VOIP. However, feel free to check with Sky - as you can see, I'm a customer, same as you.

Sure - you can find the number to call via the 'need more help' dropdown at the bottom of this page: https://www.sky.com/help/home

Sky don't routinely use email as a means of contact.
