I have been without my landline since 20th July. The OpenReach engineer has located the fault on Sky equipment at the local exchange but has been told By Sky not to fix it. I'm told by him, and confirmed by Sky Helpdesk that this landline outage is affecting multiply uses of this Sky equipment in Swindon. In excess of 16 users. I still have wifi but no landline service. All Sky Helpdesk can do is raise incident reports one after another but no action is being taken. I fear some older person, without a mobile, has no access to emergency services if urgently needed, without a landline. Sky are cupable here. I have incident report and reference numbers from the Sky Helpdesk if anyone higher up is interested. I will be changing my broadband and landline provider after I've had a satifactory outcome to this issue with Sky.
