I have recently been getting calls from various people saying that they have received a miscall from my number and therefore returning the call.

However, I have not been calling these numbers as I rarely use my landline to make calls.

It appears that someone is using my number to make these miscalls.

Any advice would be welcome!

Scammers 'spoof' (fabricate) the number they're calling from in order to hide their real number. They choose any random number that looks plausible and it's probable that on this occasion they've picked on your number to use, hence the callbacks you're getting. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to prevent this, but you could turn on the call screening service of Sky Talk Shield, so thay you can reject these callbacks, if you wish.
