Answer phone plus

New sky customer broadband 2.6 g works fine, number imported ok from bt. Problem is answer phone, 4 calls and 3 hours wasted on help lines, so dial 1571 on home phone and answer phone says no messages. Try dialing the number it never goes to answer phone? Can't get any help, any ideas please???

Have you called Sky to activate either

Voicemail which is an extra £2 a month or
Voicemail Plus (lets you leave a personalised message) which is an extra £2.50 a month?

Yes mate it's showing £2.50 a month voice plus, as I said if I dial 1571 it seems to be there but the phone never picks up a call and switches it to voicemail? It just rings out

@Bunnyman62 are you sure your number was transferred when you switched to Sky? Dual 17070 to check. The recorded message will give you your number.

Thank you for that info, I tried that and yes the number is correct, very frustrating! There doesn't seem anything on a sky web page or anything like bt/ee that I can alter setting etc, I have checked I have paid for it at £2.50 🤷🏻‍♂️
