I no longer use my landline in my sky package how can I get it removed

i only use broadband nothing else

Sky Talk is bundled together with Sky Broadband. You can't cancel the Talk side of things without cancelling Broadband as well.

Just make sure you're on the Sky Pay As You Talk tariff (call Sky if you're not). That way if you make no calls there are no Sky Talk charges. (The Pay As You Talk tariff is the default tariff when you join).

Terrestrial broadband requires rental of a data bearer circuit (either optical fibre or a copper 'phone' pair) and that cost is bundled into the monthly subscription.

Online advice to 'save money by cancelling an unused phoneline' is therefore typically inaccurate.

As @Daniel0210 indicates, what's worth checking is billing for an inappropriate inclusive calls option.
