Landline not working

No dial tone from my landline for weeks . I am 80 years old and my husband has prostate cancer. I don't really use my landline cos I have sky mobile phones but they have been playing up recently too and if they're not working and no landline in an emergency we will be in serious trouble so I would like someone to fix the fault. The phones themselves have been checked and they are working so it must be the line coming into house., I would really appreciate a quick fix, thankyou

Sorry to hear that @Annemclaren. Do you have Internet calls, where the phone plugs into your broadband Hub? Or standard calls, where your phone plugs into a wall socket?

I'm assuming your phone was working ok up until a few weeks ago, when it stopped, and there have been no recent changes to ypur phone and broadband services?
