&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;We will decide whether to repair or replace any item as new &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;if available (or otherwise with the nearest equivalent) and we &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;will have the option to do this by using one of our suppliers. &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;If we can offer a repair or a replacement but we agree to &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;make a cash payment instead, this payment will be limited &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;to the cost of repair or replacement to us by our preferred &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;supplier. If the item cannot be repaired or replaced with a like &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;replacement by using one of our suppliers, we will pay the full &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;replacement cost.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;EM&gt;You may be asked to provide any repair accounts, invoices, &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;receipts, valuations, or any other forms of proof of ownership &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;to help substantiate your claim. Failure to provide proof of &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;ownership could mean that your claim is refused. We will have &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;the option to use one of our suppliers to validate the loss &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;EM&gt;or repair.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'd also observe that it appears you would need to have chosen the optional accidental damage option ahead of time for cover to be valid, but you will need to establish if this is the case.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have sky protect smart home insurance, I have accidentally dropped my MacBook Air which now won't turn on at all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can someone advise if I make a claim will it be repaired or do I get a value equivalent?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
