New Home Insurance Disappeared

I took out a new home insurance policy via the Sky app, paid the first premium and have not received any confirmation or policy documents. Sky Protect are saying they have no record of my policy and it's not anywhere on my Sky app. I'm not going mad and the payment shows on my account. I have no idea if I'm now insured or not and getting passed from pillar to post trying to find out what's happened. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have been paying sky home protect insurance for the past 4 years . Auto renew has takenpayment every year but haven't recieved a policy. This year I have moved to a new company. I didnt know how to cancel the auto renew with sky but I was issued a new bank card and just pressumed the card number would be different and sky wouldn't be able to take the renewal payment. Unfortunately my card number has remained the same and sky has auto renewed. I have emailed them and they have no record of me having an active policy . I have now sent them all of my reciepts from previous years and the only first policy document I recieved from them. Now waiting on a response.

@Annie151 You'll need to call Sky Protect as the community can't help with your insurance policy cancellation, there should be a contact number on your policy.
