Video doorbell

Hi all,

I'm looking to get Sky Protect but Im wondering if there is any installation guide on the doorbell. I live on a flat so would like to know if I need to drill or do any other works on the outside of my door before I order the Sky Protect package.

I haven't seen a guide yet, but the product blurb says "Your battery powered doorbell is easy to fit and connect to the Sky Protect app. No electrician needed " which to me implies the unit could be stuck rather than screwed in place (albeit with perhaps some risk of theft ; )

Note that the biggest downfall of such devices, aside from battery life, is inadequate WiFi coverage.

Hello @bolaros,

Please note, you do have to mount the doorbell with screws, and possibly you need to use a drill, depending on the surface you are mounting it to.

I wouldn't bother, it doesn't work anyway.
