&lt;P&gt;It can seem a bit tricky at first to seat in the cradle.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Make sure the cradle when screwed into the backplate if using on the wall has the arrow within the cradle pointing upwards.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I find it's best to angle up the doorbell first when placing in the cradle, so top of doorbell goes in first, then ease &amp;nbsp;in the bottom of the doorbell, you should then hear a click.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Be careful taking it off, when you have to charge it, so push up the clip at the bottom of the cradle with the tool supplied or a screwdriver pushing the clip up slightly with one hand and pull off the doorbell from the bottom with &amp;nbsp;your other hand.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It can seem tight at first, try not to force the clip. Have found it tends to loosen up easier overtime.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you look under the cradle, you will see a small indent on the clip, that is roughly the best place to position your tool when releasing, it's a rough guide, but if you can remember its position, it makes it easier to all work nicely.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Have you installed it fine, like connecting the Chime to the Sky Smart Home app and then synched the doorbell to the Chime?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Open the Smart Home app and follow the instructions in the app, much as below.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL class="ol1"&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Tap &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Connect your device&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Select &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Video Doorbell&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Plug in the power and Ethernet cables&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL class="ol1"&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Use the power cable provided to plug the Chime into the mains. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;A yellow light will appear and flash briefly. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Connect the Ethernet cable to the Chime and your broadband router. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI class="li1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;When connected, the light will turn solid blue. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Light is flashing blue&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;? You might need to reinsert the Ethernet cable until you hear it click. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Sync your Chime&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;You'll be prompted in the app to press the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Sync&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt; button on the left side of the Chime until it clicks. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;A blue and yellow flashing light shows the Chime is syncing. Please keep the Smart Home app open while the sync is in process. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Name your Chime.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Now the Chime is up and running, you need to set up your Smart Doorbell&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Switch on your video doorbell by &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;lifting the seal at the back of the Doorbell&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Switch the Doorbell on. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;A yellow ring light will appear. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Sync the Doorbell and Chime&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Press the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Sync&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt; button on the Chime, then the Smart Doorbell. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;You'll hear "Your Doorbell is pairing. It won't take long". &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;Both devices should flash blue and yellow. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Doorbell not syncing to the Chime&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;? Try again after bringing the Chime closer, ideally within 5m.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s2"&gt;Name your Doorbell&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;When the devices are connected, you can assign a name and location to your Doorbell in the Smart Home app.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you try this please, go into the Smart Home app, click on settings (the cog top right), scroll &amp;nbsp;down to devices and remove &amp;nbsp;the chime and/or doorbell if they are listed there.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Then perform a restart of your broadband hub/router.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Go back into the Smart Home app and start the install again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If you have not already mounted it into place might want to try the doorbell in and out till it locks a few times. But also make sure if it is mounted that the screws are flush with the backplate.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
