Video doorbell using a wifi extender

Hi everyone

I've received my security pack and I'm trying to set my doorbell up but it looks like the issue I'm having is the doorbell is at the front of the house and the router is in the lounge at the back of the house so I can't get any connectivity.

I've emailed sky and they have suggested using a wifi extender and just wondered if anyone else has used one and what one you would recommend please?

I didn't realise that the chime had to be wired into the router, I assumed it would all be wireless!

Sorry, it's a wifi repeater...I'm not very technical!

I have it connected to my Virgin Booster near my front door and I get a good signal now
