Asbestos found in soffits. Can i claim for cost of removal, to enable replacement of windows.

I have had a survey to replace all double glazing, but they have discovered asbestos in soffits, which must be removed by licenced contractor, in order for window replacement to go ahead. The cost to remove asbestos is over six thousand pounds. Can I claim on sky protect for removal of asbestos?

The terms of this forum dictate that no-one can give advice on any specific claim: legally that has to be dealt with by Sky themselves as the representatives of the underwriter.

Speaking personally I'd suspect it's extremely unlikely that Building & Contents insurance from any provider would cover such a claim.
