      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi. I have Sky Protect device insurance for my Sky Glass Gen 1 but what happens if I needed my TV replaced in future if there is no more Gen 1 tv's available due to Sky concentrating on Gen 2 tv's , I hope someone knows what will happen.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3692708"&gt;@ScottishClaymore&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I had a situation similar to your scenario about 20 years ago. &amp;nbsp;I had a LG TV which developed a fault whilst still within its 5 year &amp;nbsp;warranty but as the panel&amp;nbsp;was no longer available LG said they would replace the whole TV. &amp;nbsp;They offered me a choice of 2 similar priced TV models and asked me to choose&amp;nbsp;which one I would like. &amp;nbsp;That was great customer service &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face:"&gt;😀&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'd imagine it's quite possible that a portion of the remaining unsold stock of Glass v1 is set aside for replacements under Sky Protect.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
