Doorbell upside down image

Since recharging the video doorbell, the image now appears in the app upside down.
There are no settings that I can find for setting orientation and rebooting the camera doesn't help.

Mine has done the same, attempted several reboots, but nothing changed.

Has your doorbell now returned to normal out of interest.

I had the same problem after charging the doorbell. It turns out that I had put it back on upside down.

Maybe I should just install it upside down.
Clearly, Sky don't bother looking at their own support forums.

Are you sure you haven't? It fits onto the wall mounting either way up, which is how I managed to get it wrong.

This started after the last recharge, I noticed it was upside down before refitting it to the door and thought it may be an automatic orientation feature, so I rebooted it 'right way up' but it's made no difference.

But hey, the good news is - I've got a new forum badge! Whoopy.

I'm sure you have sorted this issue by now however I had the same issue and have just found out how to sort it in the camera settings it has 'Rotate image 180' which was toggled on, must have selected by mistake when moving now have toggled it off and image is now the correct way up

I checked the settings looking for that kind of switch when the problem arose at first, but couldn’t see it. I've updated the camera and chime firmware today, no change.

Are you using an Android app? I'm on iPhone.

I'm using Android...

I tried to attach an image to this message however it doesn't appear to let you do that, on mine:

Open the indoor camera from app

In the Top right there is a 'Cog'' which opens settings, you then have a menu as follows:

- Name & Location

- Video Recording settings

- Configuration - (in here almost at the bottom) Rotate Image 180 (which you can toggle on / off)

- Technical Information

Thanks, @HMMc , those last three options aren't available in the iOS version of the app. 😕

@HMMc ignore the above. The screen grab you have shown is for the indoor camera, not the doorbell camera.

After a recent 'door slam' incident... resulting in the camera falling off it's mount.. it is now on upside down. The strange thing now is that I can't seem to get the camera off the mount now; which I will need to do for charging of course. I had thought that one weak point was how easily the camera could be removed, but not anymore for sure! Anyone else had this issue?

That option doesn't show in iPhone... well, not on mine anyway. Mine is upside down... and as soon as I can remove it, I will put it back on in the correct orientation!

I just had same. Tried allsorts. 180 flip is only for indoor camera. Fixed by detaching camera. Turning it off at back of unit for 30 secs and back on. Put back on in same orientation and all good now. Hope this helps
