Hello, I sent my iPad off for repair through sky protect insurance that we pay and they sent my iPad back not repaired and said they could not do it? I'm rather confused as to why this couldn't be done when we are paying

You would need to ask Sky Protect as only they can explain why it was sent back to you unrepaired. You could try the live chat that is available via the Sky Protect app.
