I'm getting the error "Your account is not authorised to access the My Sky App". I think it may be still linked to an old (and I mean really old) legacy primary user account from years ago, but I'm not too sure.

Can anyone from Sky look into this for me, as I'm trying to access my Protect account on the My Sky App.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but I don't have Sky TV or Broadband services.

My Sky iD is a legacy old account from years back. I've recently had an email from Sky Protect (home insurance) that tells me I can now access my home insurance account on the My Sky app, of which I can't log into.

In that case you will have to setup a new ID to access your Sky Protect account.

Is there a way to delete the account then, as it seems like it's broken. The protect account is linked to my email address, of which has been taken up by this "broken" account.

Also, I have a Sky email account linked to my broken Sky iD, I'm presuming that I'll have to give up this email address?
