Presumably they aren't prepared to meet whatever additional terms Sky require for participating in Glass, or they are planning their own alternative method of online distribution.

My wife has insisted that we get the shopping channels back or we have to cancel Glass and go back to Q.

As a temporary fix, I have plugged the Q box into Glass via HDMI. Most of Q is not working but the Freeview-type channels, including the shopping ones, are available. Marriage saved.

Once Sky want their Q box back we'll be stuffed and I'll either have to switch back to paid-for Q or maybe get a Freeview box of some sort, though I'm loath to do that as obviously Sky just need to provide the full set of channels on Glass that are available on Q.

But if access to the dish to change the LNB is difficult, then you can still use the Q's wideband LNB with older freesat receivers by using something like the Johansson 9725. Often easier than changing the LNB.
