Sky television hasn't required a physical landline connection into its hardware for years*: older Sky+ / Sky+ HD hardware had a dial-up modem for basic online interactivity and telemetry export, now long obsolete.

Sky Q uses satellite signal for live content and broadband for online services, either over ethernet or WiFi from a router.

Sky Glass is online-only over ethernet or WiFi

*the last models with a 'phone' socket were the 895W / 890W released in 2013

We have Sky Q and do not have a landline.
