Screen lag on sky go

Hello,

i have just updated the softwareto OS X Monterey on my Mac as sky go stopped loading up on the old software.

since i have done this, whilst watching live sport, the picture pauses every 15-20 seconds temporarily and then goes back to being live. The commentary doesnt buffer at all and flows perfectly. Ive tried reinstalling the app with no joy.
this is really frustrating when im trying to watch sport or any other programme for that matter. Any suggestions?
