Hi ,I've been trying to transfer my old number over for the last 3 day but all I'm getting is that there us x problem and try again.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong

Hi @Powell67 can you confirm you are trying to transfer your old number from another network to a new sky sim ?

No, I think that I have totally messed up.

I have purchased a new phone and contract rather than upgrade my old phone.

Hi @Powell67 if you are trying to port your number from one sky sim to another you can't. You should have ordered the new phone without a new sim/plan and just used your old sim. If you have activated the new sim you will need to call sky, free on 150, and ask them to cancel the new one as you will now be paying for two plans. If you want the new allowance on your old sim ask them if they can also do that when you call.

They even gave me a much better deal on my sim plan
