Do Sky not want to sell anything?

Been trying for a week to order Sky Stream and Sky Broadband, website gets to checkout tells me the website has had a technical error and stops, try live chat, they tell me to purchase online or give me a phone number that sends me round in circles until eventually telling me to buy online.

What gives? Pretty close to giving up trying at this point as they don't seem to actually want to sell anything.

If you have a Sky Mobile then you can call Sky for free via the 150 number. Or under "Need more help ?" at the bottom this page is the number to call, it might take a few seconds to appear, if you are in Ireland make sure the flag in the bottom right is changed to the ROI so you see an 0818 number:

Just ignore the messages at the start of the call and remain on the line for as long as you can and don't hang up when asked to do so.
