      <title>Unable to contact Sky, unable to cancel my subscription</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been with SKY for 10 years +. The service has gone rapidly downhill over that time. It is impossible to contact anyone no matter how big or small the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My sky TV box has not worked correctly for months, only a few chanels work. Everytime I try to contact Sky, I am brought around in circles from web link, to web link - no resolution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have phoned and have been on hold ( at a premium rate call) for 30 mins + everytime - I will not waste more money trying to call anymore. My contract is up on February 24th. I have now cancelled my direct debit. If someone wants to contact me regarding this they can phone or e-mail me. I will no longer pay for&amp;nbsp; a service I am not recieving. I would not advise anybody to subscribe to sky TV, it is absolutely terrible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is my formal notice that I am ending my subscription on February 24th / 2022&amp;nbsp; as Sky have no other facility to allow me to do this.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;Praise where praise is due.&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just wanted to say that I cancelled Sky TV today. &amp;nbsp; I've been with them for over 10 years. &amp;nbsp;I decided to watch less TV for a while!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm posting here because I've seen so many postings/experiences where cancelling Sky was very arduous.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;My experience was actually good and the Sky contact was very considerate.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I cannot get hold of Sky at all. I have tried to cancel on their&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Sky’s Virtual Assistant and gave them notice that way. There is no other way to contact them. If you cancel our direct debit as well the phone cal directs payment. It's disgraceful. &amp;nbsp;There is a home. &amp;nbsp;way to contact them to even give them notice. I begrudge paying another amount of money just to get to speak to someone as I coudlnt the last time. Who has an address I can send them my termination and notice email and postal address. please help&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Managed an early morning call to sort out Cinema cancellation. Still considering cancelling whole contract. As as a Diamond VIP member, pretty appalled at the circles you can go in trying to cancel something. For example :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Phone message 'is that everything'? Answer yes, you get dc'd.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Message service. Go to secure log in. Result? Error. Bad Page.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Help pages that are not clear on who/ how to contact for cancellation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Also unable to cancel Sky. The numerous phone numbers don’t answer, they go straight to andwerphone message telling me Sky have asked me to contact them - which they haven’t. &amp;nbsp;The ‘how to cancel sky’ information on Sky’s website does not tell me how to cancel sky either. I have cancelled my direct debit. &amp;nbsp;How can any organisation make a thing so complex? I don’t want Sky any longer, I have tried for week after week to make contact respectfully and politely but&amp;nbsp;Sky won’t respond. I’ve therefore cancelled my dd and wont be paying. any more.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Cancelling your DD is the worst thing you could have done. Sky will charge you non payment fees, possible involve debt collectors and you still won't have cancelled so the charges will only increase. This would obviously impact your credit rating.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Don't go down the cancel DD route. Full of problems. Phone them later at night of early morning. I finally got through to them. I agree though, the whole process is deliberately convoluted and misleading and is shameful. I am in the process of cancelling other chunks of Sky and will eventually leave this bunch of charlatans.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
