Sky go extra for diamond VIP

I am a diamond VIP member and used to have access to sky go extra but this seems to have disappeared. I did leave sky for a couple of weeks but then rejoined and my VIP status remained the same. Does this mean I now need to purchase or is it a glitch because of the hiatus? All help gratefully received.

Usually if you leave then your VIP status gets reset so to get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

If you left Sky and rejoined, any offers you had will have dropped off. This would include Sky Go extra offer for VIP because you can only take it once.

We can have a look at it for you and see if we can have it re-added.

Thank you both. I was only away for a couple of weeks and my status remains as Diamond VIP as I had been with sky for 21+ years. I think it stayed at diamond as a goodwill gesture.

Your SkyGo app needs to remove its numbered adverts as we're paying enough for you guys.
Plus - your desktop app doesn't even have a decent HD quality. Or a settings toolbar button that allows HD settings, and a change in audio for 5.1 ac3.
Please fix this so that OnDemand programmes and films don't need to be waited for - by waiting for adverts that you can't get rid of.
If you are going to go streaming, please do it properly.
No adverts, and an advanced audio and video quality,
Set it up like all of the other platforms please.
Platform companies such as Netflix and Disney+.
Same should go for your apple TV app and all devices everywhere.
all equipment is going HD or 4K these days, so software needs to be updated please.
Could you pass it onto your techical support team to upgrade your go apps to allow people to choose how they'd like to watch their TV and films for us.
With no adverts also.
Looking forward to seeing if this fix can be added to your next update on all devices.
