Sky Sports App - Live Video Unavailable

I am a Virgin Media customer with access to the Sky Sports app via my Virgin Media login.

When I try to watch a live TV channel on the app, I get this message and no playback.

I have tried the following troubleshooting methods which are given on the Help Page:

Sign out and sign in
Restart device
Delete and reinstall app

I think you would need to ask Virgin Media about this as while the app is from Sky any support should be from them as you are not a Sky customer which is what this forum is for,

But my issue is with the Sky Sports App. Virgin media provide my log in for sky.

@CallumGozzers So what you really mean is that you use a virginmedia email address to log in? You don't actually access the app via a virgin media box etc?

That might be the case but as you are a Virgin customer then you need to report this to them.

I had the same problem, my fix was to use the Virgin Go app first to register my device and then the Sky Sports app live tv started to work. Hope this works for you too.

I'm a sky sports subscriber & live video on my iPad app has stopped working, done all the usual stuff like deleting app & reinstalling, rebooting iPad but didn't make any difference, I know I can get it through the sky go app but not as quick, any ideas, thanks

This same error has just started for me, virgin TV customer. How did you fix it?
