Yes, but that doesn't mean data is flowing: as @cookiemonsteruk indicates, many posts here suggest that this may not happen until midnight on the activation date.

I'm having the same problem. I was supposed to have it all installed yesterday. Sky engineer fitted the dish and set up TV AND did a great job. But No sign of openreach all day. I had one missed call but nobody turned up after having a message they would. I tried calling the contact number openreach sent me for engineer called 'William ', which when I rang it, was called Alex and working in another part of the country. I waited in until 6pm after booking a day of for the installation (was told 1-6pm).

Late evening around 8ish, an openreach person rang me, asking if an engineer turned up, which I said no. He apologised and said they would 'be disciplinary action taken'. Next thing, at 9pm, an openreach van stops outside my house. I asked the person driving it why was there, and he was checking there was a line to my house, which there is. He said he'd connect it first thing the following morning (ie today). I received a message at 7am to say it's all connected and I now have sky bb, it's activated but alas...Still no broadband. Only 2 green lights on the box. I can't get through to anyone for any help or answers. I'm starting to think it was a mistake joining up. If anyone can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated.. many thanks

As indicated above, activation today means midnight tonight would be the latest expected point for data to start flowing: the fact that yesterday was the scheduled date doesn't change that.

What should I do if still not activated by tomorrow..it's been frustrating today just trying to get any feedback, so thank you for replying..it's very much appreciated. Is it better just to post on here or is there actually a living human being who I can speak to on the phone if there are continued issues? If so which number is best? I've been listening to canned music for ages

Hello, Alas, still no Internet. I managed to speak to someone today and they will be arranging for an engineer to visit again to check the bt socket...but they couldn't organise that today, hopefully tomorrow, but as it's the weekend, it will cost me £15 extra, on top of the initial £25 I paid for the initial installation, which was unsuccessful in that I still have no Internet
