Puck TV won’t turn on

Puck is on

remote control synced and light on

TV in standby and won't turn on

Unplugged this morning and left it

plugged it all back in some hours later

pressed the button under puck for 20 seconds

reset remote

pressed 4 and 5

then 1 and 3

lights are all on

but TV won't come on !!!

Try a long push on the on button to get tv out of standby and same to turn tv off,and short push to bring puck out of standby and turn on,that's how my puck works on my Sony tv,took a bit of getting used to!!!

Why not just use the TV remote control to bring the TV out of standby? Select the appropriate HDMI input that the puck is connected to and check that your puck remote is paired correctly to the TV and that you have HDMI control turned on.

Has your puck remote previously switched the tv on? If not, you may have to set up the remote using a different channel, I think there’s 15 options, to encompass all functions.

I found pressing the pucks home button turned it all on better than the power button

@Dazzar51 finally TV came on using old Sky Q mini box remote. TV light and puck come on with new remote but screen only turns on with sky q remote

@PHILLC01 Sky Glass remotes have to be programmed to produce the right infra red control code to switch on TVs and control the volume. It is the same process as on Q remotes see the instructions here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/your-sky-glass-remote
