Hope this helps&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Connection is correct. Works when sky is on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;yes have app for both Netflix and amazon from tv remote. But sound bar stops working and have to use tv sound.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the purpose of sound bar is to use whilst these are on&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sure it is probably a simple fix. Can not be the first to raise this issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If watching Netflix from the TV app I think you need an optical cable going from your tv into the soundbox.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The HDMI connection from Sky Q to your TV can only carry sound from programs being watched on the Sky Q box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I finally managed a workaround. &amp;nbsp;Netflix does work via soundbar if Netflix app is used via Sky, rather than the TV. &amp;nbsp;Sky App does not support Amazon. (why !!!). &amp;nbsp;Using the optical mode on the soundbar I can get amazon, need to turn down the TV volume and the soundbar does work; not as well and needs to improve.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;sky should develop a proper workaround as this will be a common request.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had a similar issue mate until I realised that my TV's output via Optical was set to DTS, the Sky Soundbox can't (or won't) output any DTS signal. Which is a shame really.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/381170"&gt;@rich196&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The tapio 3 does appear to support arc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(arc stands for audio return channel and basically means that in your setup, the audio/video signal can go &amp;nbsp;out of your sound bar and through to your TV and importantly the audio signal can go out of your TV and back to the sound bar.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;to get sound from your TV and TV apps you would need this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in your case however you have explained that the return part has stopped working. So the audio isn't leaving yout tv, going back down the hdmi cable and coming out of your soundbar&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The first thing I'd check-not all hdmi sockets on a tv support arc. Double check - the hdmi socket you use on your tv to connect to the sound bar- does it support arc ? It might be marked or you might be able to check your instructions. Perhaps you recently changed with hdmi port &amp;nbsp;you use ? Just exploring possibilities &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thinking_face:"&gt;🤔&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Obviously check both the hdmi cables are firmly plugged in -if you have any spares -try those instead. If you don't have spares - swap the two cables over and see if anything changes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are still struggling -one more thing you can try is to get hold of a cheap optical cable and put it out of your TV and in to your tapio 3. Then for TV and TV apps just select optical on the tapio- that should work if you can't find any other solution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you do this - you will have to make sure you enable optical as a TV audio option in your TV sound settings&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope that gives you a few things to look at - but I am around tomorrow and will try to log on to the forum if you are stuck and I'll try to think again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
