Hi it as nothing to do with a faulty socket, my 1st box did the same thing & i have done everything in my power I was told to do, I am not the only one with this problem of the box power failing, there was a topic on here from Jan with others having the same problem so have they all got faulty power sockets ? I think not, there is a big problem i know that, the box doesn't turn off the box is still on with the green light on the front, but just a blue screen saying 'no signal on this channel' & the HDMI channel it is plugged into changes from saying Sky Q to HDMI3 so why there is some kind of failure with the box so often i dont know, thats why the techs should be looking into this matter or I will be going back to VM as I'm fed up with it now..

This is the 2nd box I have had as the 1st one did the same thing, they say they won't change it again so what am I supposed to do there are no power glitches in the house, Sky Q box is the only piece of equipment in the house I have had problems with, only been with them 6 months & I have had other things plugged in the same socket before with no problems at all, as I said others have been having the same problem as I read on here from Jan, they can't all be faulty sockets..

I havnt been rude or horrible to anybody, I was pointing out a fact as I see it, I phoned Sky 2 months ago about this issue as I am not the only 1 having this problem, I did everything I was told to do & it as been getting worse this last 2 weeks, the post I read was from Jan & I was pointing out that nothing as still been done, I havnt been rude to anybody, I just want this sorted as I am a new customer & had nothing but problems with Sky Q box from the start, yes it is very annoying, but OK I will apologise to the tech as I said in my last comment I had the box plugged into a extension (which isn't faulty) but have plugged it straight into the wall socket just to see if the extension was the problem, & i hope it works..
