How can i set the sky sound box to default to HDMI sound output.

My sky sound box defaults to optical sound on start up. HDMI is my preferred sound and I have to change to it with the sound box remote controller. I want the HDMI sound as default

That's very odd @golfmad

I have no problem with this and mine always starts up on HDMI

Have to tried to reset your Soundbox as described in the Soundbox help guide ?

It's in the "different problems" section

Hi I will try reset the sound box but trying to find how to in the guide is like looking for a needle in a haystack

Go to the "different problem" option on the first page

Then the "stuck and unresponsive " option on the second page
