Credit on account after regrading to sky glass

Hi,

I cancelled sky q and upgraded to sky glass however after paying my first glass bill which went out by direct debit today - but I've had an old q bill generated and it shows a credit of £90 - I've been told that it will be refunded but when will this be ? Is it on the old dd date as I have 2 set up one for old and one for glass - I read here that if I ring sky they will manually do it but I've been advised it doesn't work like that but I got confused (doesn't take a lot)

hope someone here can help???

@Sim83 If you have sky broadband it'll go towards that, if not refunds take upto six weeks from termination date or call Sky for a manual refund within 3-5 working days ( but only from when the credit is showing up on your old q account)

Sky won't manually refund I've tried twice said something about having to wait. Annoyed a bit cause last week I paid £129 for old account for which I'm now £90 in credit and today I've paid £83 for glass. As much I love my new glass tv it's not with the hassle - is there anyone from sky here who can help me on this cause with the cost of living going up I need it back asap

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

@GD1 thanks for escalation, No idea why they won't do manual payment though

@SKY1992bf Yes weird one as there is no Sky BB on the account so they should refund the credit.

Oooohhh this makes sense it was showing up today as a credit like

the bill had been produced as such but they owe me - I'll give them a cal tomorrow if the bubble hasn't appeared before then.
