      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sounds like you're on a legacy package, at least for Broadband. It will probably be cheaper to switch to one of Sky's latest packages. Give them a call..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you have Sky Broadband then you do have to have line rental but as&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4639"&gt;@Mark39&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;has said if you are on an old product it might by cheaper to switch to another broadband product where the price of it and line rental are combined&amp;nbsp;so could save you money. If you have a monthly Sky Talk package and you never make any phone calls via a landline phone then it would be cheaper to switch to the Pay as you talk so there are other options available for you so give Sky a call via the free 150 number to see what they will offer you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's not always as straight forward as being lied to.&amp;nbsp; We cannot just change customers subscriptions. There might be things tied to that specific subscription that once we change, they might not be able to get back. Customers are invited and encouraged to move to the new products, we just cant change without their consent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Example, the old HD and F1 bundle which some customers are still on. We would rather all customers be on our most up to date packages but some customer keep legacy packages for certain benefits which would otherwise be lost or charged extra.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;On a current broadband product from any ISP there's typically no longer a &lt;U&gt;separately listed&lt;/U&gt; 'line rental fee'.&amp;nbsp; The ISP is still paying a wholesale line provider for use of the cable (copper or fibre) delivering broadband to the address, and the cost of that is part of the monthly subscription price.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
