Charged for a phone call to sign up for sky glass

Please can someone help, I've been charged over £20 for phoning to sign up for sky glass.. this is.unfair and certainly unexpected. The charge has been put in my 02 account and recorded as a premium number.. this is the only number I had for sky. How do I go about claiming this back.

This is an issue between you and O2. Have you spoken to them?

@jamesleestevens Sky use 03 numbers these are classed as a local number, if you googled a number and found a number that wasn't an 03 number then that is your error and it is O2 you need to speak to not Sky.

Phone numbers for Sky are 0333 numbers so no5 premium rate numbers. If you found a different number on the internet and used that, and it was a premium rate number you will have to pay O2 for the call. That's nothing to do with Sky.

If you have used a premium number then this is why you have been charged the £20 as calls to Sky via an 03 number can be free if you have free minutes with O2 so if you used an internet search engine to find a number then this is probably why as you should usually use numbers on the companies own website instead.

@jamesleestevens Sky's official phone number(s) can be found on their website, as the others have said if you found the number from any other source ie Google then you dial them at your own risk regarding premium charges I'm afraid
