Sky Price increase ?

After viewing my latest still in agreed contract bill, i have noticed an increase. I have had no communication from Sky to say this would happen, have searched Sky and on here but nothing to suggest why this is.

Anyone got any answers please.

Your T’s and C’s allow an annual price increase of up to 10% which in the UK is in April and in the ROI in December. Unfortunately a lot of subscribers believe the monthly price they see at the point of signing up or renewal is 'fixed' for the whole of the 18-month minimum contract term when in fact it isn’t. It’s the discount amount that’s fixed. You should have received a letter or an email outlining the increase.

Thank you kindly for the reply, it kinda makes sence, but its a blow out of the blue, when i have had no notifications at all about this increase. I am on contract offer with sky, but this increase is make or break, and after 22 years i have to argue the point is Sky worth it,. As a pensioner with a wife who has health issues we felt Sky to be a need but maybe a luxuery, but this is just another kick in the teeth.and at the moment its very negative. So it might be time to say goodbye.

I would check your spam folder in your emails in case the notification landed there. I got mine on 4 March but it could have arrived anytime up to 26 March.
This price increase is just the latest annual increase so it shouldn't have come as a surprise with your length of continuous service.

You should also check your bills as well I do and if your unhappy with the price increase quite Sky.

Not quite as easy as that if you are still inside a fixed term contact - there will be a penalty payment if you are, which could be higher than the total cost of the monthly increase.

Sky Broadband and mobile contract only if there a price increase.You can cancel contract with no penalty.

UPDATE; I have phoned Sky, they tell me i recieved an email of the increase on the 15th March, and that i had viewed it. I have been through all my messages back to January including Spam box. Nothing at all.
