I have 36month contract and am 16 months in when will I be able to upgrade

Hi @Hannahb you can upgrade anytime after the first month but that would mean you paying a substantial sum to do so. If you are on swap 24 (36 month contract) then at 24 months you can send your phone back to sky and if it's in good condition then that should be used to pay off the remainder of the contract and you can get a new phone.

Another thing to look at possibly @Hannahb is look at your account to see what your outstanding balance is, then get a value of your phone from one of the second hand phone exchange companies and if that value is more you can sell your phone and use that to pay the balance.

Whenever you take out a new phone with sky you are credit checked @Hannahb
