Renewal discounts

My latest bill has just gone up from £95.50 to £117.29 and future bills advised at being estimated at £122.50. That's an increase of at least £27.00🥵. So I've enquired today as to what deal could be available to me if I agree to sign up for another 18 months. To my disbelief I was told no deals were available at this time and then given a renewal figure of £125.00. Please let me know if there's going to be any discounts for existing customers (10 years) in the near future as I've got a gas bill to save up for and may need to alter my packages to suit.

This is primarily a forum for customers to help other customers, so you aren’t speaking with Sky Customer Services and Sky won’t automatically contact you as the result of your post on here.

Try ringing again over the next couple of days and speak to a different agent.

@Peter+Harpet Your post has been moved from the Email forum as that is for Sky/Yahoo email issue not an email route to Sky, you should also be aware you are not contacting Sky CS via the forum.

We can't tell you whats going on, however Sky don't need to to give you the same or similar deal as you previosuly had.

One option is to cancel and see what offers you then get. You can use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave

On the link provided (In the UK) it should include a Message Us option between 0900-1930.

You can also call on 150 from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk line

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

If you don't see the Contact options on the link above make sure java script is enabled on your browser.

@Peter+Harpet As fellow customers we can't say want offers if any are available

you will need to keep phoning until you get an offer you find acceptable

Sky are under no obligation to offer any discounts

A contracted rate of £125 for a £122.50 package doesn't seem a particularly good offer...

Anecdotally Sky seem to be playing hardball with discounts recently - best way may be to leave and then wait for a proper offer to keep you.
