Can a contract be amended after renewing

We have just entered a new contract with Sky in February at the same price as before but the contract price has just been increased, is it possible to amend the contract? If we had known the prices were increasing we wouldn't have done a straight renewal.

Getting through to someone at Sky is impossible.

It's unlikely, but you would need to speak to Sky directly to see if they're willing to change it. What problem are you having speaking to them?

It is impoosible to get through on the phone and an online web chat can takes ages to be answered. I feel it was very wrong of them not to point out that there was an impending price increase.

I'm afraid the T&C's allow them to increase once a year - it's always in April.

Not impossible as evidenced by many posts here.

The general price price increase happens at the same time every year. BT tried the same thing with me.
