I have bought new lg tv and it’s auto linked to sky q northwest but we have sky hd plus not q and it

I have a new lg smart tv and when it auto set up it linked to sky q northwest but we have a sky plus box not sky q. Sky keeps freezing and saying technical fault and not recording programmes properly. Any ideas? Thanks

Try a planner rebuild:

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild

This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something.

The HDMI name would be something you need to update by renaming the HDMI input using your TV's remote & menu.

If your Sky+ Box keeps freezing etc have you tried a reboot of your Sky+ box. Edit: or as per @caesarome a planner rebuild.
