Sky Tv Guide not showing available listings

Hello,

I've noticed the past few days that my sky tv listings are showing not available or programme synopsis is not available especially with channel 5. Is any one else experience this issue or is it a box issue?

I'm not sure how to send photos on here to show what my tv guide is doing? I've already turned box off, reset the box, done house keeping. The only thing left is wiped my planner but I don't think that's the issue here, besides I don't really want has it wipes all recorded, series's links and scheduled programs which haven't been affected.

Any help would be appreciated indeed.

Absence of programme synopsis and a TV Guide limited to just 24 hours are both symptoms of having a signal on only one of the two dish inputs. Check your signal strengths by keying Services > Settings > Signal. The white part of all 4 bars should be at least half way across.

Hi, nope my signal on all four Strength & Quality input 1 & 2 is all the same right up on the right side apart from a small bit at end, besides i had sky engineer's vist to check and replace all cable's.

I'm wondering if the programs have changed due to what's happening recently In the world?

Owt to do with software update?

Everything else is fine, catch up, watching live tv no signal, picture glitches or pixelated. What are all the methods of doing reset??.

Main plug switch off for 10sec then 30sec box reboots.

Turn your Sky Box off at the mains for at least 5 minutes

I'm having same problem. I've just checked my signal, and I only have input on signal 1 not signal 2.

How do I correct this please?

I am having problems with the TV guide not loading properly on certain channels, ITVbe being one of them. As its not showing as anything available it has cancelled all recordings I had due and not able to record anything. I have unplugged and reset several times with no luck. This has only been a problem for the last week!

Try a planner rebuild, Instructions can be found in my FAQ (link in my forum signature below)

If you get the error message diskless mode then the explanation can be found in my FAQ also

Try a planner rebuild:

Press Services on your remote

Select Help

Select Sky+ Rebuild

This should take no longer than 10 minutes, don't do it if you are recording or due to start recording something.

We have had exactly the same issue for around a week now, initially thought it was a botched software update and would be corrected by a subsequent patch. Have run all the options previously stated in this thread.

Obviously not a new problem -any ine got a solution preferably from sky?

I think I solved our problem by the tried and tested method of switching everything off for 10 minutes and then back on again! 🙂
