Hello, getting " Sky + playback is not available " , tried to rebuild and pairing card but neither resolved the issue.

Have you tried a box reboot at the mains, leave it off for 5 minutes before powering it back up.

Have done that already, I'm updating system software at moment to see will that resolve issue, will keep you informed.

Software update did not make a difference

Sounds more likely to be an issue with your viewing card/account which will need you to contact sky

I am having the same problem . Sky recently sent out a letter informing me that my package was changing to Sky signature . Could this be the reason I can no longer record programs or watch back recorded programs ? I neither need or want a new tv package as I was perfectly happy with the one I had . I am also a Sky+ V.I.P and I got an email telling me I can download the Peter Rabbit movie for free but now I can even do that . I'm not very happy as Sky have also increased my bill payments but taken away everything that I signed up for .........why ?

Contact sky and tell them that your Sky+ features have stopped working, they will check your account and hopefully re-enable the missing features

Thanks for the reply . Is there a number for sky Ireland ? Is it a premium rate number ?

We have two sky + boxes and one of them is working perfectly but the other one just stopped recording and removed access .

Make sure the flag is set to ROI in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

Connected to messenger help and connected with a virtual assistant. Relayed my problem .

Was told that an expert would be along to help sort the problem . 45 minutes later I found a contact number online ( the one on the help page doesn't connect ) and spoke to a lovely lady who sent the signals again and hey presto , problem sorted . It should not be this difficult to connect with Sky when problems arise . But I'm grateful to get my recordings back . Have a nice day everyone and thank you for your help 🤗
