I’m moving to Dubai! But still want sky.

I'm moving to Dubai tomorrow and used to have my own sky subscription. I have the sky go app so is there just a mobile subscription I can get ? Would I be better sorting it before I go? Or can I do it there?

To be able to use Sky Go you must have a Sky TV subscription.

Also Sky Go will only work for around 30 days outside of the UK (the device then needs to connect within the UK again), so it wouldn't be possible to 'piggyback' onto a valid UK Sky subscription.

It would only work in Europe and not in Dubai for 30 days.

Perhaps worth noting that other services may also not be available due to local regulations.

The country's ISPs Etisalat and du (telco) ban pornography, politically sensitive material and anything against the perceived moral values of the UAE. All or most VoIP services are blocked.
