Programme synopsis not showing

My mothers sky+ box does not show programme synopsis on the guide. Have turned box on and off plenty of times without success. On going for nearly a year now, and ideas how to sort this out?

It can happen when there's no signal on one of the dish cables. Check via Services > Settings,> Signal.

The white part of all four bars should be at least half way across.

Only 2 bars, maybe due to having no internet installed at the house?

The 2 bars seen are at least 3/4 across the line.

No, nothing to do with internet. Are you saying only two bars are shown? Or are there four bars, two of which have no white part?

Only 2 bars are showing.

Input 1 Signal Strength...3/4 across

Input 1 Signal Quality...7/8ths across

Input 1 Lock indicator Ok

Input 1 Neterok ID/ Transport Stream has numbers and letters

Telephone Line connected

Complete screen for signal

Ok, thanks. Next thing to check, then, is that the Single Feed,Mode setting is turned on. It's in the Installer Menu, which you access by keying Services,0,0,1,Select on the remote. Key the whole thing in one go. Don't pause between key presses and don't wait for the screen to change.

You could try a Planner Rebuild (step 2 in the link here) though I'm doubtful it will help: https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-plus/sky-plus-watching-sky-tv/sky-plus-recordings/diagnostics/recording-on-sky-plus/sky-plus-recordings-other-problem

If that doesn't resolve it, there's really only a full system reset left. Or you could give Sky a call to see if they have any other suggestions.
