&lt;P&gt;I'd suspect a failing LNB (especially if it's more than 5 years old) or cabling. I suspect what's happening is that the signal is so poor that it occasionally drops out below the usable threshold, and produces a failed recording as a result. Best thing to do is book an engineer who will investigate and pinpoint the cause.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Edited to add: the LNB is the bit on the arm of the dish where the cables connect.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
