No signal

I have no signal on my sky+box trued everything nothing is working plz help

@Rahima+B what have you tried so far? have you tried turning the box off at the mains and wait 5 minutes and turn it back on again have you made sure the satellite feeds are screwed in tight

@Rahima+B is the error message 'no signal' or 'no satellite signal?

Do you have your own dish, or are you connected to a communal dish?

I am having the same problem

Dish is OK but has many cobwebs on it

Services and signal states null or not locket

But it does sometimes work making my recordings come out as

Failed or part rec.

Just checked they seem good , I tried switching off by the mains for 10mins

@Zeo+Fox might be a faulty sky box then if it sometimes works or might need the cobwebs removing from the dish

I'd suspect a failing LNB (especially if it's more than 5 years old) or cabling. I suspect what's happening is that the signal is so poor that it occasionally drops out below the usable threshold, and produces a failed recording as a result. Best thing to do is book an engineer who will investigate and pinpoint the cause.

Edited to add: the LNB is the bit on the arm of the dish where the cables connect.
