Error message when trying to watch recorded programmes on Sky+

Getting an error message saying Sky+ playback is not available. Also says top picks is only available with an active subscription. Can anyone help?

Try turning off your Sky box at the plug for 4 minutes, then see if the error has gone away. If not, are you able to view channel 106 ok?

Thanks but the error message is still appearing. Yes I can still watch channel 106.

Hi Mark that hasn't worked either. Do I need to go to step 3 and try a full reset?

Bearing in mind the message you're seeing about not having an active subscription, I'm wondering if it's an issue with the entitlements on your Viewing Card. I'd suggest giving Sky a call to explain the problem: they should be able to send a signal to your Viewing Card to refresh the entitlements stored on it.
