To see the picture you just connect a HDMI cable (the one wth with the pink connector thatcame form sky if you have it)from the back of the box in to a HDMI socket on the TV.

If you mean get the sky remote to control your tv

@Carol-lyn if you have an older Sky+ box, rather than a more recent Sky+HD box, it won't have an HDMI socket, and your new JVC may not have a scart socket. There are converters to get around the problem but if you can give us some more details we'll be better able to offer help.

Hi we got a new tv on friday and its a 32inch JVC FIRE TV EDITION SMART HD LED TV LT-32CF600 AND WE CAN'T CONNECT IT OR CONNECT OUR WIFI TO GET THE WIFI WORKING OR SKY WORKING

Assuming you have an HDMI cable connecting your Sky box and your TV, all you should need to do is select your TV's HDMI input, using the TV remote.

If you can't see live Sky tv, turn both your TV and ypur Sky box off at the plug, wait 4 minutes, then switch on again.

Reviews of that set suggest it may take rather more than four minutes to boot, though, after being repowered: it appears to need to talk to Amazon servers before doing anything...

swtich the tv on it says fire tv .theres a very large round circle on the jvc remote control in the round circle theres a smaller circle press down now it will say select your country so we are english now your tv will start

dont worry wat will go on its updating. wen all this is done there will wifi symbles u see on tv like yur phone one pick the one showing the number of your router its there in front of your eyes press the middle big circle again on the remote now type the password in for your wifi select midd /big buttn/again continue.

now press home button this is a picture of a house on remote hold that button down for 4 seconds now u will see a hidden menu your sky is on 1 2 3 4 hdmi this is the 1 2 3 4 lead u pluged in to back of tv press the sky remote 2 times its says sky on the remote ....tv is set up now

right take that hdmi lead out of the tv and sky box put diffent lead in now .press the house button down 3 seconds theres the hdmi menu 1234 scroll down to the one connected to tv there numberd on the side or back of tv select the correct one

if this did not work press home settings go across to device and softwere go alway down it says reset to factory defaunts press this wait tv will restart everything sould work now u mite need to put wifi code in again...

one more thing its hdmi arc on the tv make sure the sky hdmi lead is pluged in to this one....now press the sky box to stanby press sky on sky 2 times tv sould show sky now if not take the tv back from were u got it from failty
