Hi,

For several months now recordings have failed partially. What usually happens is when watching back a recorded programme the picture will pixelate for a few seconds then the message "signal lost" will apprear. This will clear after a few seconds then a minute or less later the same thing happens. Watching live tv is absolutley fine with no glitches at all. This only happens when watching recordings. The HDD is not full, the dish and cabling was replaced recently. Also occasionally when bringing the Sky box out of standby I get a message saying there is a fault and the only way I can clear this is to unplug the sky box for a minute or two and then plug back in. I dont know if the two faults are related.

Yes, I'm thinking the HDD might be on the way out.
