Smart tv

Hi, I have just bought a new smart TV but it won't let me connect my sky+HD box to the TV. It keeps asking for the antenna to be attached. The hdmi cable is plugged into the sky box and the TV.

Help. Do I need to get an upgrade on my sky box. Its very old.

You should be able to change the input n the TV t the HDMI socket you sky+ is plugged into and away you go

The antenna is not required to connect your sky+ via HDMI, if the above does not work then you'll need to consult your TVs user guide

You just need to switch the input source on your tv. At the moment you habe TV selected which is why you're being asked to connect an antenna.

You need an HDMI input. Turn on the Sky box and look for a button on your tv remote labelled source or input or AV. Press it repeatedly until picture and sound from your Sky box appears.
