PFE 9903 - playback being stopped for no valid reason

I tried posting this about month ago.... but my post was deleted for some reason.

Just tried Sky go again for the first time since. And the problem persists.

I get an error preventing playback saying I'm running software capable of cpaturing video....

Code: PFE 9903

I'm not. I can have it so that no apps are running in the dock at all bar Sky Go. Only other things are Google Drive etc in the top bar.

What is going on?

MacOS Monteray 12.0.1 (21A559)

Mac mini (M1, 2020)

Sky Go Version 22.2.2 (22.2.2)

Aside from the main issue being reported above, some other points of note:

1. Why [removed] can I not screengrab or copy and paste an error code from Sky Go?

2. I note that the detection system and error above doens't trigger on the adverts you force people to watch before playback.... funny that isn't it 🙄

Is there any other way of contacting Sky to try and resolve this issue?

Hi there. I have escalated your post to Sky who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
