You appeat to be running software capable of capturing video - Code PFE 9903

Getting this error on my MacBook Pro (Catalina 10.15.7). Worked on Friday and now doesn't.

This App just get's worse - any thoughts anyone?

Try disabling everything the Mac is running other than Sky Go as something like the snipping tool is causing this.

Just received the dreaded Error Code 9903 when trying to watch SKY Go on my iMAC (BIG SUR) It was working 2 days ago but not today. I am not a techie so being told I have a video capture app running in the backgroud doesn't help me. How do I find it. The only thing thats change that I can see is the Acrobat Reader DC app and Microsoft Office Suite updated today with a TP Link app (tpPLC.app) installed a couple of days ago.

Give this a try:

Hold CMD + Alt + ESC (command+option + esc) and force quit any open applications apart from Sky Go and Safari and then see if it will work.

Sorry that didn't work any other ideas. It came out of the blue as I have used SKYGo a number of times in the past.

So you closed all apps about from Sky Go and the Sarafi web browser ?

Yes I did. The only one other than skygo and safari was finder which you can't force quit.

I'm having the exact same problem with my Sky Go, also on Mac. Only applications running are Sky Go itself and finder

If you are just attempting to watch a terrestial programme then just use a web browser with iPlayer or All4 or ITVHub or whatever. Never any problems at all with them. SkyGo is simply rubbish and they need to sort it once and for all. If SkyGo actually works at all on my computer, tablet or phone it is perpetually buffering or crashing. I hate it and have none of these problems using a web browser (as mentioned above).

I had the same problem this evening and the culprit turned out to be Snipping Tool. I had a photo open that I snipped earlier. As soon as I closed Snipping Tool, Sky Go behaved normally again.

Tried using the Sky Goo and got the same error, nothing other than Safari running.... appauling anyone fixed this?
